Airports. A place dreaded by so many. Thought of as a breeding ground for infuriatingly long lines and overpriced sandwiches, a place that is so often overlooked by passengers in all too quick of a hurry to race to wherever they are going.

As a self-proclaimed seasoned traveller, who has spent countless hours waiting in airports, I choose to appreciate the time that I spend meandering through security lines and finding open seats in boarding lounges. After all, as the old proverb goes: life's about the journey, not the destination. I see airports as marking the transition between one stage of our lives to another, old endings and new beginnings. They stand to show that both anything is possible, and everything is ephemeral.
